SRWC is a unique recovery-oriented community-based agency which offers pre and continuing recovery and family programs as well as individual and couples counseling. We have gender specific as well as co-ed programs morning, afternoon and evening to meet your individual needs. Short wait time for intakes and entering individual counseling or programs and support. Our evening programs provide programming if you are unavailable during the day due to work, school, child care, or other commitments.

Should an emergency occur while you are unable to open the door or get out of the residence, Brandon Fire & Emergency Services (BFES) can access your property without having to break-in. In 2022, several internet sources reported that Super Bowl LVI was THE largest sports betting sporting event in North America, including an increased percentage of prop bets ( x > 60%-70%). The Lombardi Line talk show reported a record handle at $179M+ (Las Vegas oddsmakers). The days of simply predicting a win/loss, quarter points or basic point spread are far behind us. Micro-betting, early cash outs, prop bets and other in-game betting features have heightened the gambling experience, mirroring slot machines in their neuro-chemical impact on the brain. Free Wheelchair Skills Training

Nearly 300,000 Canadians use a wheelchair to improve their mobility. However, wheelchair users often receive very little training in how to use it effectively and efficiently. TEAM Wheels is a 4-week program designed to improve wheelchair mobility skills for activities that are most important to the participant. The program includes a self-managed training app along with 3 teleconference sessions with a peer trainer (an experienced wheelchair user). All training happens at home, using a computer tablet provided during the 4-week training period. The program is being offered as part of a research study, so it is entirely free for participants.

Adjusting to Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are dentures that are inserted into a patient’s mouth immediately after their teeth are removed. In fact, this will allow you to immediately begin learning to eat and speak with your new teeth. The advantage of immediate dentures is that you can walk away with a full smile immediately following the removal of natural teeth. However, because immediate dentures are inserted right after your dental surgery, the gums and jaw will change shape as they heal so it may be necessary to have an immediate denture adjusted. Having sore spots is normal and the denture will need to be adjusted by your denturist when they appear.
