Planning, purchasing, or creating these gifts takes time, money, and energy – which often leaves us questioning whether our efforts will be appreciated.
Expectations around cooking, baking, decorating, and hosting can also add pressure. Even setting boundaries, while important for protecting our energy, may result in others’ disappointment or frustration, which we then need to navigate.
