Improve Your Focus & Concentration
Very often the brain and nervous system become fatigued and overloaded. Much like a computer receiving too much data all at once, the brain can become overwhelmed, slow down, or even crash. This can result in an inability to focus, brain fog, memory loss, ADD/ADHS-like symptoms, a “wired” feeling, or the inability to cope with daily life. The key to turning these conditions around is to give the body what it needs to strengthen specific areas of the brain and nervous system. This can be achieved naturally with specialized nutritional formulations, which will replenish the body and alleviate symptoms.

Alzheimer’s Support Groups
We often don’t realize just how much community and connection matter until we find a space where we can express our ideas, thoughts or worries. That’s what makes support groups at the Alzheimer Society so meaningful.
“Even those who are hesitant to attend at first quickly find they can relate to others in the group,” says Samantha Holland, First Link® Regional Team Lead at the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. “Having their experiences validated keeps them coming back to what becomes a new community of support.”
The Society offers both in-person and virtual support groups for care partners and people living with dementia. Visit alzheimer.mb.ca to learn more about available support groups.

Ramcharan – Righteousness “Now is a time to be centred. Go within and find your peace. Breathe. Let go of what no longer serves you. Allow nature to harmonize your senses. Know that whatever leaves you returns in a much better form. Righteousness is akin to spirituality. Know that you are being guided by a higher source and that you are never alone in your decisions. There is nothing to fear. If you feel unbalanced, simply go outside and ground in nature.”
Did You Know?
Father’s Day was inspired by a daughter named Sonora Smart Dodd, who wanted to honour her single father, a Civil War veteran who raised six children on his own.
Measure Your Risk
Forget the scale and BMI. A simple waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) measurement may predict heart disease risk in men more accurately than weight alone. Research shows that men with a higher WHR have a significantly increased risk of heart attack, even more so than weight or BMI alone. WHR reveals where fat is stored: excess abdominal (visceral) fat surrounds organs and is linked to inflammation, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular disease, while fat around the hips and thighs may be more protective. To calculate WHR, divide waist circumference by hip circumference. A ratio above 0.90 signals increased risk in men. WHR can improve through strength training, soluble fiber, microbiome support, and targeted metabolic support.
How Is Your Cardiovascular Health?
Did you know that many people have cardiovascular disease without experiencing any symptoms. Most people are not diagnosed until the condition worsens to the point where they have angina, a stroke or heart failure. Therefore, it is important to start taking steps towards a healthy heart and arteries today. Biofeedback is a great way to assess your cardiovascular system for early signs of disease. If found, the information can then be used to devise a specific program to improve your heart efficiency and arterial health before symptoms occur, or even if symptoms are present. Remember: Sometimes What You Don’t Know CAN Hurt You!
Flowers for Him? Absolutely.
Who says flowers are only for women? This Father’s Day, honor the men who show up, support, protect, and care for the people they love with a gift that feels thoughtful and genuine. From rugged, nature-inspired arrangements to clean, modern designs, flowers can reflect his personality and style in a unique way. Whether he’s the steady rock of the family, the backyard gardener, or the quiet guy who never asks for much, a bouquet is a fresh way to say “thank you.” Unexpected? Maybe. Appreciated? Definitely.
