The Effect of Stress on Children

Canadian families today face more stress than ever before. According to the Psychology Foundation of Canada, stress among children is estimated to have increased by 45% over the past 30 years. Too much stress can make it hard for children to get along with others. It interferes with the child’s ability to focus, think and ultimately learn and effects their physical, emotional and mental health.
