Healing with Reflexology
There are reflex points on your feet that are thought to relate to specific organs and glands in the body. Through the application of pressure on these reflexes using specific hand and finger techniques, reflexology therapy can relieve tension, improve blood circulation and support the body’s efforts to function optimally. The benefits of reflexology include its ability to stimulate nerve function, increase energy, boost circulation, induce a deep state of relaxation and eliminate toxins from the body. Your feet will love the pampering and you may feel calm and a sense of well-being.

Health Benefits of Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a patient-centered approach to health relating to the whole body of the patient. Skilled palpation and a detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics guide the osteopath to assess and restore balance within and between all the systems of the body. This includes the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological, cranial and visceral systems. In health, the body seeks to maintain a balance within and between these systems. An osteopath uses a wide array of manual approaches to reduce and resolve strains, stress and dysfunction in all areas of the body. The goal is to remove restrictions to vascular, neural and biomechanical mechanisms and ultimately support the natural healing mechanism.
Keys to Lifelong Change
A nutritious diet, exercise and stress management are part of developing a healthy relationship with yourself. It did not take you one day to become overweight and out of shape, so you can’t expect to change overnight! Many of us live as “subconscious beings” reverting to unhealthy habits such as binge TV watching, processed foods and drinking alcohol daily. To truly change your health, you need to set slow, manageable goals. The choices you make on a daily basis determine the long term outcome. Consult a Holistic Health Practitioner to find out how you can achieve lifelong change by making small changes today.

The holiday season provides an opportunity to reminisce about special ornaments or decorations that have been set out for the special occasion. These items can help you share holiday memories with your loved one. This is also the time to bring out old photo albums so that you may re-live holidays past through pictures.
