Do you prefer a smaller chair or a larger one that envelops you in a big hug? *Material & Coverings. Leather-type material is easier to clean while plush materials can be more comfortable. *Padding. If you have a bad back or sit for long periods you may want more padding. *Single vs. Double Motor. Double motors offer extra lumbar support. Come into our store and try out the different models.
Resolutions for 2022
With the start of the new year, we are all hoping that this one will be different than last year and the year before that. 2021 is now officially over and as we embark on 2022, it is time to move forward. Let’s work on making resolutions that will help us through. Focus on that all-important Self-care (and Community-care)! Find the things in life that are enjoyable (and able to do within the constrictions of the pandemic), and resolve to commit to them regularly. Be specific yet flexible, and most importantly, make them enjoyable (not just healthy)!

Smoking Affects Your Hearing
Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? If you are a smoker, you can now add increased risk of hearing loss to the list of reasons to quit. The chemicals found in cigarettes may affect the way your ear processes sound. In fact, smokers have been found to be 15% more likely to have hearing loss than non-smokers. Hearing loss isn’t fatal, but it can lead to a number of health-related issues down the line. Dementia & depression have been linked to untreated hearing loss, so be sure to have your ears checked regularly. Get started by scheduling a hearing test today.
Essential Oils & Coaching
As a Coach, if a client already uses essential oils in their routines, we can incorporate them for alignment and attainment of their goals. Whether you experienced loss or want to heal an emotional trauma, want to increase your spiritual awareness with meditation, are shifting towards prosperity and plenitude with a financial goal, are working on an existing relationship or trying to find new love, want to practice more self care, are looking to release anger, or have a physical goal using exercise and/or diet there is an essential oil that would aid you in the attainment of your goals.
WorkBC Assistive Technology Services (change!))
“There are a million different ways that we can help somebody increase their capability at work,” says Nate Toevs, Marketing Manager for the WorkBC Assistive Technology Services program. Offered across BC, the program “helps people who have a barrier to their employment-related activities,” explains Nate. “The focus is on people with disabilities, but it’s also people who have an old injury or chronic pain, anything that prevents them from giving one hundred percent of themselves in the workplace.” The program provides funding for assistive technology, ergonomics, restorative supports including canes and crutches, hearing aids, vehicle modifications, and more.
